Main service

Mono-split or multi-split

A mono-split consists of one outdoor unit connected to one indoor unit. With a multi-split, up to five indoor units are connected to a single outdoor unit, covering several rooms at once. AB-Electro supplies and installs air conditioning systems from brands including Daikin, LG, Samsung, Panasonic and Haier. The legally regulated work on the refrigerant circuit and the commissioning are carried out by a certified refrigeration technician from a certified refrigeration company.

Cooling and heating with a single unit

The air conditioning cools in summer and heats in the transitional seasons, drawing most of that heat from the outside air. That helps keep your bills down. The 'Mijn VerbouwPremie' grant only applies if the air conditioning is your sole central heating and your home is completely fossil-free.

The installation and the refrigerant circuit

AB-Electro takes care of the supply, positioning and mounting of the indoor and outdoor units, the electrical supply, the condensate drain and the neat installation of the pipework. The refrigerant connections, pressure and leak test, evacuation, opening of the refrigerant circuit and commissioning are carried out by a certified refrigeration technician from a certified refrigeration company. That way you receive one complete and correctly executed installation.

Licence, noise and inspection

Since 1 March 2026 you generally no longer need an environmental permit in Flanders for an outdoor unit, provided it is at least two metres from the property boundary. We choose the location with the neighbours' noise levels in mind. In a flat, you ask the co-owners for consent beforehand.
