Split and multi-split air conditioning units that cool and heat, installation in Aalst.

What we do

Our air conditioning services

Main service

Mono-split or multi-split

A mono-split system consists of one outdoor unit connected to one indoor unit, making it ideal for a living room or bedroom. With a multi-split system, two to five indoor units are connected to a single outdoor unit, allowing you to control multiple rooms without having to install a separate outdoor unit for each space. Which one you need depends on your rooms and how you use them. We'll work with you to choose the right capacity: too powerful and it wastes energy, too weak and it runs flat out all the time. We're not tied to any one brand: depending on your space and budget, we install brands including Daikin, LG, Samsung, Panasonic and Haier.

  • Mono-split: one outdoor unit, one indoor unit
  • Multi-split: up to five indoor units connected to a single outdoor unit
  • Power output tailored to the space and the insulation
  • A monoblock system is an option if an outdoor unit is not feasible, for example in a flat

Cooling and heating with a single unit

The air conditioning cools your home in the summer and reverses that cycle in the transitional seasons, so that it then heats your home. It draws a large proportion of that heat from the outside air, which helps keep your bills down. If you wish to apply for the 'Mijn VerbouwPremie' grant for an air-to-air heat pump, please note the conditions: the air conditioning must be your sole central heating system and the property must have been completely fossil-free since 1 March 2026, meaning no gas or heating oil as a backup. If you do not meet these conditions, the air conditioning will still be an excellent way to cool and provide supplementary heating, but you will not be eligible for the grant.

  • One unit for cooling and heating
  • Heats efficiently by using heat from the outside air
  • Mijn VerbouwPremie grant: sole heating system, fossil-free home, A+ rated appliance and RESCert-certified installer

The installation and the refrigerant circuit

The indoor unit is positioned where it provides the most comfortable airflow and is least obtrusive. We install the outdoor unit securely against the façade or on the roof, with the refrigerant line and condensate drain neatly concealed. The refrigerant circuit itself – that is, the vacuuming, leak test and filling with refrigerant – is work reserved by law for a certified refrigeration engineering firm with an F-gas certificate. New units run on R32, a refrigerant with a lower environmental impact than the older R410A, which is being phased out. After installation, we'll go through the operation and controls with you.

  • Indoor unit fitted where it provides good airflow and stays out of sight
  • Outdoor unit mounted against the façade or on the roof, with pipes neatly concealed
  • Evacuating, leak test and refilling the refrigerant circuit in accordance with the law
  • R32 as a refrigerant in new appliances

Licence, noise and inspection

Since 1 March 2026, you generally no longer need an environmental permit in Flanders for an outdoor unit, provided that it is situated at least two metres from the property boundary and your property has been granted planning permission. This exemption now also applies to the front façade and flat roofs. Bear in mind the noise levels for your neighbours: the outdoor unit must not exceed the background noise level by more than 5 dB(A) at the property boundary, so we'll choose the installation location with that in mind. If you live in a flat, you'll need prior consent from the co-owners to install a unit on the communal façade. The five-yearly energy inspection only applies to units with a cooling capacity of over 12 kW, which most homes fall well below.

  • In most cases, no environmental permit needed since 1 March 2026
  • Outdoor unit at least two metres from the property boundary
  • Consent from co-owners is required in a block of flats
  • Energy inspections are only mandatory for systems above 12 kW
