Intercom or videophone
The difference is simple. An intercom only transmits sound: you can hear and speak to whoever is ringing the doorbell via a handset or a screen without a picture. A videophone adds a camera to this, so you can also see who's there. Both allow you to open the door or gate from the device inside. Ahmed will assess which one suits your home best with you on site.
- Intercom: hear and speak to your visitor
- Videophone: the same, plus a video feed from a camera
- Opening doors and gates from the device
- A choice tailored to your home and your budget
